Tuesday 1st June

Roald Dahl Story Day

Come and join the magical fun with us today.  Would you like to try a homemade sweet treat from our Willy Wonkers’ sweet shop? or would you prefer to cook up some revolting recipes?  We will be making pipe cleaner lollypops (Augustus Gloop probably thinks they are good enough to eat). We also have had a special request from a boy called George, something about a marvellous medicine he needs us to make, hopefully we will be up to the task!

Designing your very own dream catchers too just like in the BFG.

We will be joining in with the children dressed as Rhoald Dahl characters, so dig out your costumes.

Wednesday 2nd June

Gardening Day

Who would like to help us make a fairy garden today?  We will be painting our own stones and playing a game of hide and seek with them.  It might be an idea to wear some old clothes as we will be getting super messy making a mud pie and potting our own seeds and decorating plant pots to take home.

Thursday 3rd June

Hip Hop Day

Dance your way to see us today, sweat bands, sports clothes and you’r dancing shoes.  We will have the music pumping to get us in the mood to create a grafitti collage and use junk modelling to make a shoulder stereo, we obviously need to look the part!

Get those caps on backwards and get ready to DANCE!

Friday 4th June

‘The jungle book’

Todays the day to bring out you inner Mogli and embrace jungle life. We will be trying some of the fruits of Mother Nature, We will also be trying our hand at some den building, some specialist equipment will be available but our little jungle explorers may have to scavenge to find it!

We will be using Nature that we collect on our nature walk to make an art collage too.

Jungle day will also include a variety of outdoor activities, including orienteering. Testing your map reading skills to the limit!
