Monday 1st August to Friday 5th August 2022

Full day session: 8am to 6pm, includes breakfast and tea

Between the ages of 4 and 13. Unfortunately we cannot accept three year olds.

We encourage children to bring along their scooters as we will be participating in a daily Mile on our brand new scooter track.


Monday 1st August

Jamaican Day

We will start the day with a visit from Nathan who is our multi skills coach.  This will be followed up by some indoor curling.
The afternoon will be ‘running cool’ as we work together to create a bobsleigh from cardboard and crafts for the Jamaican national team.

 

Tuesday 2nd August

Brazilian Day

Today will be a Brazilian inspired sports day, we will start the day with a visit from a futsal coach. We will be designing our own street volleyball net, as would be seen in Rio De Janeiro. We will then participate in volleyball games! prizes will be going to the winning team.

Wednesday 3rd August

African Day

Today we will start looking at some sporting culture from Africa, starting with some tag rugby in the morning.

We will then try our hand at making the famous South African Vuvuzela.

We will finish the day with a bang in our professional drumming lesson.

Thursday 4th August

Medieval Sports Day

Today we will be focusing on sports that were played in the medieval times, one of the most famous sports of the these times was jousting. We are going to make our own joust along with helmets using paper mashe.

This will all be very safe as there will be no horsing around.

Friday 5th August

The Future of Sport

Today we will be trying one of the worlds newest sports. This is a sport created in Denmark and is a mix between rounders, dodgeball and cricket. We are excited for you all to try this fresh on the scene team game. We will be hosting a singles and doubles badminton tournament throughout the day. In addition to this and sticking to the danish theme, our little athletes will become bakers and step in to the kitchen and make some Danish buns.

We will finish this day off with our famous Water play, remember to bring a towel and a spare set of clothes including underwear and socks.
