Monday 22nd August

 Nature Badge

Our children in the morning will design there “badge sheet’ in which the children will try and get there 5 badges to complete the collection.

In the morning we will be playing insect bingo, we are going to be exploring areas around our club to see if we can complete the set.

We will take a walk along to our Nature reserve, where we will be exploring our surroundings, making outdoor shelters and clay modleing.

Tuesday 23rd August

Cooking badge

Today we will be dining forest school style, this is pretty much the best day ever!

In the morning children will be helping out staff with the food prep for our afternoon of outdoor dining.

Afternoon – bear Grylls café.

We will be gathering in our outdoor area to have a BBQ with some of the meat and veg we prepped this morning and make some fresh lemonade too!

Wednesday 24th August

Kindness badge

Today we will be bringing out the kind and caring side of our community. We have a couple of challenges to earn todays badge.

This morning we will be painting pictures for a member of our staff to drop into a local Residential home, we are going to encourage our children to use pieces of nature within these designs.

In the afternoon we shall be cleaning up the area around where we play and working as a team to clean windows and a general tidy up of our afterschool club.

We will end the day with a film and snacks on a projector

Thursday 25th August

DEN Building badge

Todays day is a ‘does what it says on tin day’

We will be working a close nit team to collect equipment to use in the grand build in the afternoon. As a group we will research what we will need to build a successful den and sketch out how this will look.

In the afternoon it will be BUILD TIME, we will spend the afternoon building our camp den in which we will play party games in…. so it will be a big one.

Friday 26th August

Party badge

Final day party –  stage 1 – party planning. In the morning we will set the children the challenges of planning party games, picking your favourite playlists and getting your party outfit on.

The Afternoon – PARTY TIME – SIMPLE.

Again, finishing off with our famous water play. Be prepared to make a splash, this is your chance to get the staff with your super soakers. We can not wait!
