Monday 23rd August
Will there be room on the broom for you? We will be starting the day with a visit from Nathan our multisports coach. Our day, all about witchcraft and wizardry, will begin with some broomstick making, building a cauldron of our own and cooking up some magical medleys. The group will then be collecting some sticks and outdoor materials to create a magic wand which they will promise not to use on you parents when they get home!
Tuesday 24th August
The Enormous Crocodile
We’re in for an ENORMOUS second day to the fifth week, First thing we are going to do is make puppets to use to preform part of the story. We are then going to have a large group task which will continue throughout the day, creating the biggest crocodile Gosforth has ever seen… that’s the plan. We might even have a game of SNAP. (I know we are funny) To finish our day we will be having a visit from Animal Antics (we wonder if they will bring along any real crocs).
Extra point if you wear your CROCS.
Wednesday 25th August
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Today will be very sweet, we will be having a fun filled day of chocolate craft, golden ticket making and design tasks. Also, we have had a request from Willy Wonka himself to design a new outfit for the leader of our chocolate factory, but remember he is eccentric and loves bright colours!
Although we can’t manage a chocolate river we will be having water fun today so if you want to join in don’t forget a complete change of clothes and a towel.
Thursday 26th August
George’s Marvellous Medicine.
BOOM!!! We will start the day by getting our BOOGIE’S on with a visit from the dance teacher.
Today is all about George and his marvellous creations. Kids will be creating mocktails and potions, we are going to try out some nonsense foods and drinks and see if our little scientists can work out what they are!!
Friday 21st August
We are going to have a MEGA day which will be HUGELY popular, it’s what you have been DREAMING of…. right we will stop!
