Havannah Wrap Around Club on the Great Park and Gosforth Out of School Clubs @St Oswalds in Gosforth

Gosforth Park Out of School Club Ltd has been established since 1998 and runs two out of school clubs:

  • Havannah Wrap Around Club at Havannah First School, Great Park for term time and holiday wrap around care

  • St Oswalds RC Primary School for term time wrap around care

During term time we take children from Havannah First School on the Great Park, St Oswald’s RC Primary School, Gosforth and Gosforth East Middle School. During the school holidays we take children from all schools and areas.

We have been providing childcare for families and parents in Newcastle since 1998 and our customers tell us that we provide a highly valued service.

All staff work at both clubs and are the same staff and management that have been working in the previous Gosforth Park Out of School Club and Broadway East wrap around care.

“My son attended for around 5 years until recently. The club has been a friendly, flexible, welcoming service to use and he thoroughly enjoyed his time here! The staff are helpful, approachable and have had the best interests of my son at heart. Would recommend highly.” JK, July 2017

“The effort and dedication you all give is certainly appreciated by C and I. I am sure you don’t get the thanks each morning and evening from each parent, but please know that as a family we appreciate what you are doing wholeheartedly.” JS, September 2012

I’m so glad you guys set up this place – my son’s always happy when I pick him up, which is a credit to the carers! You’ve all certainly helped reduce the working mothers’ guilt complex!” SA, March 2013

“The appeal to my children is the welcoming, calm, caring and inclusive nature of the care – it is not just sporty children who will have fun. My youngest son was especially keen to do craft activities sometimes and have sporty activities at other times. Having looked around at other opportunities and sampled a couple of other holiday sports clubs the individuality and attention of the care was much higher at your club.”  A response in our post Summer Holiday 2013 survey

Ad Hoc Bookings

The majority of our places are taken up by permanent bookings. We do take ad hoc bookings where we have availability, up to three weeks in advance. The price depends on the school that your child attends and whether you require a 5pm or a 6pm finish, as all the schools have different finish times. The after school cost will work out at £5.15 per hour, this includes anyone needing to book an occasional extra hour to 6pm on top of a regular booking to 5pm they already have. The adhoc before school cost is £5.15 for GEMS and St Oswalds and £5.40 for  Broadway East. There is no sibling discount for these bookings.
