October Half Term 23rd October – 27th October 2023

We offer a full day session is from 8am to 6pm and includes breakfast and tea. Half day sessions also available 8am to 1pm or 1pm to 6pm.
If full week is showing as unavailable please check full days and use these to book, or if full days show as unavailable, please check half days to book both separately.
We do not accept 3 year olds or provide nappy changing services.
If a day that you would like to book is full please do email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to the waiting list. If there are cancellations we will let you know or if we have enough demand we may be able to open up more places.
Monday 23rd October – Step into Autumn
To start our holiday club week we will be going on a walk through the nature reserve to
collect leaves to use on our autumn collage. Please bring warm/waterproof clothing and
Wellies. We will also be making woodland animal book marks. We will unlock our inner creative side and make some 3d leaf effect pictures, bird feeders and much more.
Tuesday 24th October – Autumn Ball and Party Games
Today is a traditional end of October party with apple bobbing, pumpkin carving, face paints to name just a few of the fun things we will be doing. Do come dressed up.
Wednesday 25th October – Harvest Day
We will be going on a nature walk, making a scarecrow, designing some autumn collage pictures and warming up with a hearty vegetable soup that we will prepare together. Do bring anything that you would like to add in to the soup.
Thursday 26th October – DIWALI
We will be celebrating Diwali a little early in Holiday club, we will make a Diwali card and
also a lantern. We will learn all about the Festival of Light. Holiday club wouldn’t be the
same without our potato curry making an appearance and today is the day! Curry and home
made naan breads for our afternoon snack.
Friday 27th October – Out with a Bang!
For the final day of the week we will be doing firework painting and seeing if we can make our own explosions (safely of course!). We will be making toffee apples to enjoy after our afternoon snack of hot dogs (veggie option).
Remember Remember the 5 th of November – well its coming early to Holiday club! Today
we will be painting the most impressive firework display and making bonfire night rocket
decorations. Aim for the moon with our very own exploding shooting stars. Snack
will be finished off with chocolate dipped marshmallows!
