Summer Holiday, 25th – 29th July, Week 1: Magic of Story Telling

Monday 25th July

The Magic Round about

Today we will be following in the foot steps of Zebbedi! We will be participating in a carousel of fun and engaging Activities.

Activities will include, designing your own carousel horse, making spinning tops and magic toys.

Let us hope we don’t drive you around the bend.

 

 

Tuesday 26th July

Going on a Bear Hunt

This is a day you can not miss because let’s face it, you can’t go over it and your can’t go under it. The morning will begin with a visit from Kida R Fit.

We will then take part in a bear hunt themed adventure walk. We will finish off this grizzly day with building our very own Bear caves.

 

Wednesday 27th July

The Chronicles of Narnia

Take a step through the wardrobe in to a world of mystery and fantasy. We will start by imitating the ice Queen of Narnia by gathering hidden ingredients which will be found by navigating a map. We will use the ingredients to make our own flavoured icicles. The Fantasy will continue through to the afternoon with a visit from a Magician, we may have just let the rabbit out the hat.

 

 

Thursday 28th July

Mini Authors

On this day we will be trying to bring our your inner JK Rowling with the creation of your very own fiction story. The morning will consist of a visit from a Story teller to get the creative juices flowing. The next stage of our book design will be front cover designs, We will provide you with a range of magazines, newspapers and craft materials so that your story stands out of the shelf.

The best story book will be published on our Social media pages and the Author will win a prize.

 

Friday 29th July

Marvel

Today will be SUPER, our little HEROS will be encouraged to dress up as their favourite Marvel character and bring in a magazine. On the morning we will be making spider webs using GLOOP. We will be thinking about what kind of super hero we would like to be and what would be our special power.

We would love for you to bring in a white t-shirt to get creative and make our own super hero costume.
