Todays activities will be themed around saving the planet, we ask children to bring in some RECYCLABLE items in which could be used to design a homemade rocket. We will then be having our own race to space with our recycled rockets.

Our final task to help our planet and protect our nature and create a bird box to keep on our site for the children to check throughout the year, so bring your hat and maps and join us on an adventure!

Are you the king of the jungle? Our Wednesday this week is a special one, as we transform the club into the jungle. We ask that all children come in dressed as their favourite animal.

In the morning we will be creating animal portraits using hand and finger painting, these paintings will go together to make a college of different animals to be displayed in the Club.

Fitting in with our weekly theme of nature and animals, we will be having a special visit from the staff from animal antics in which we will participate in a range of activities held by their staff.

In the afternoon we will be trying out hand at fruit art, children will get a choice of fruit and challenged to create their own ‘Animal Antic” character through painting/drawing and the use of crafts on the fruit of their choice.

The final day of our crazy week of animals nature and rockets ( we know that doesn’t quite fit in but it will work 😉)

The morning will begin with a nature walk and an outdoor breakfast to get in touch with nature. In the afternoon we will be having an picnic following on with a film and snacks and of course the film will be “The Jungle Book”

Again, finishing off with our famous water play. Be prepared to make a splash, this is your chance to get the staff with your super soakers. We can not wait!
